Eastend Wolf Willow Health Centre- Outbreak Declared

The outbreak at the Wolf Willow Health Centre continues. The illness has been identified as Influenza A. Please be advised visitation continues to be restricted at this time.

Under the guidance of Medical Health Officer Dr. David Torr, an outbreak has been declared at the Wolf Willow Health Centre in Eastend due to a respiratory illness. Please be advised that visitation is restricted at this time.

Respiratory viruses are contagious.  They are easily spread by coughing, sneezing, and direct contact through nasal and throat secretions.  Symptoms include fever and chills, cough, muscle aches, headache, fatigue, and a runny or stuffy nose.
