Regional Bursary Program

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has been provided funding from the Ministry of Health under the authority granted by The Provincial Health Authority Act for the 2018-19 Saskatchewan Bursary Program.

Applications for the Swift Current and area are available now, and will be prioritized for a bursary based on the following:

  • applicants who indicate a willingness to work in rural, remote and northern areas of the province
  • First Nations and Metis applicants in support of a representative workforce
  • applicants that align with “hard to recruit” positions within the SHA.

Student bursaries are also available year round through the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation and the McIntyre Family Foundation.
