Amulatory care is offered at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK, offering a chemotherapy sattelite program, renal dialysis, and other health services.

Chemotherapy

The Chemotherapy Unit is located on the second floor and operates Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays) from 8:00am to 2:30pm.

Once it is determined by an Oncologist that a patient’s condition is stable, selection for available spots in the Chemotherapy Satellite Program will begin. The program employs highly trained chemotherapy nurses who provide approximately 1,000 specialized treatments per year.

Renal Dialysis

The Cypress Regional Hospital houses the region’s Renal Dialysis Satellite Program available to residents of Cypress Health. The unit is located on the second floor of the Hospital and is offered 12 hours per day, three days per week; Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There are two dialysis runs each day with one group of patients in the morning and another group in the afternoon. The unit can accommodate a total of six patients at one time. Once it is determined by a Nephrologists that a patient’s condition is stable, selection for available spots in the Renal Dialysis Satellite Program would be made by chronological order. The program employs a group of highly trained dialysis nurses who provide approximately 1,700 specialized treatments per year.
