The Adult Day Program assists individuals who are coping with changes in their physical health, aiding them to continue to live in their own homes by providing a variety of supportive programs in a safe, secure environment.
The program provides respite for the at-home caregiver as well as physical and mental stimulation for the client.
The Adult Day Program provides support for individuals with memory impairment and dementia, as well as benefits those who are socially limited, physically compromised, or cognitively impaired.
Attendance is based on need and space availability. With the exception of statutory holidays, the Adult Day Program operates Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm
The current cost is $8.15 per day which includes a hot nutritious noon meal and two snacks. Costs are subject to change. There may be other services available to Day Program clients within each facility that are charged separate in addition to the day program costs. These could include hairdresser/barber and century tub bath.
Recreation activities include entertainment and socialization, nutritious noon meal and snacks, assistance in arranging transportation, and access to a century tub bath.
