A staff of Food Service Managers, Supervisors, and Dietitians manage the food service operation at facilities throughout the region. This group of dedicated staff members ensures that food being served to patients, residents, and clients is of quality, nutritious, and safe, and that it complies with special diet requirements.
Food for patient meals and snacks is prepared fresh by certified cooks and trained staff using the cook/chill method. Meals are based on a non-selective menu cycle.
If you have food preferences that comply to your diet they can be relayed to your primary care provider, nurse, or to nutrition and food services staff delivering or picking up trays.
Inform your nurse immediately if you have food allergies. If you are on a special diet that has been ordered by your physician your meals and snacks will be adjusted to comply with that diet.
